Founded in the Venice of the North back in 2013, Bakunin‘s name shouldn’t sound unfamiliar on the European scene as they’ve been gypsy brewing not only in the Baltics, but also in Spain and Germany. And since their 🌩 mystical debut 🌩 at BPBW 2018 they shouldn’t be new to the local crowd either.
They have their own bars in Russia and now planning to build their brick and mortar brewery as well. They are not copying any worldwide trends, but they are forming them on their scene, very often in collaboration with other great minds alike… But of course our favourite pick among all of these are those crazy Csupis (Sic!) from the hood! #monyobrewingco
In May they represented their witchcraft with an imperial stout, a barley wine, a berliner weisse and a spontaneously fermented beer from the Mordovia clouds. Can’t wait to see what they’ve cooked up for us in their magical kitchen for next year’s BPBW 2019 | Budapest Beer Week /// Tasting Sessions! Za zdorovie!
