The Wild Beer Co was born out of a love of fermentation, barrel-ageing and most importantly, flavour. We believe exceptional brewing stems from imagination and passion. Our beers are brewed using modern creative techniques and ingredients while producing some of the world’s oldest beer styles guaranteed to give you a memorable drinking experience.

The Wild nature of our beer is displayed in the alternative fermentations and unorthodox yeasts we use alongside our barrel-ageing and blending program. Set against the backdrop of the Somerset countryside we are a truly farmhouse brewery sharing our space with Westcombe Dairy, whose cheese pairs incredibly with our beer…

Embracing individuality we think of our beers as having unique terroir; our house wild yeast was captured in a neighbouring Cider orchard and we often forage seasonal wild ingredients.

We believe that exceptional brewing stems from imagination and passion, unconstrained by stylistic guidelines and should be guided by flavour. We want to give you a truly memorable drinking experience, altering your perceptions and thrilling your taste buds.

We are currently building a new brewery to house our production facility which will cement us as one of the leading craft beer breweries in the UK – especially as it will allow us to develop our current site and our barrel-aged, sour beer range. This was all made possible though a crowdfunding raise on Crowdcube. We welcome onboard over 2000 new investors to the Wild Beer Co team.

Now with planning permission granted and scale plans drawn we are ready to break ground! Roll up your sleeves and grab those shovels…
