Last year we went heavy representing the UK and well, the attending breweries will might change, the quota won’t. ?????? Straight from one of the beer capitals of the British Isles, please welcome North Brewing Co to our 2019 lineup!

Being a pioneer is not something what comes with an immediate attention or proof. Time is the storyteller here and our friends sure know this. Established in 1997, known as “the first craft beer bar in Britain”, it might took 18 years of the owners of the legendary North Bar to open their very own brewery, but in 2015 the year has come to them and the road has never been more successful.

One might would feel that they are still a bit under the radar, but as Honest Brew quoted about them in their Brewery of the Year Summary – “North’s efforts to reinforce and foster a sense of community that begins within the brewery but extends far beyond its doors, is not only admirable, but one which ensures Yorkshire and Leeds’ brewing heritage continues to be expanded upon” – it is clear that they are not in this business for that 15 minutes fame. And this is something we can only agree with.

With a wide range of styles and an insane amount of wild collaborations – we are talking about some of the best rated breweries out there – in their portfolio, North Brewing will bring one of the freshest winds of the colorful new wave British Craft. And even though they recently made a visit for a tap takeover and a collab with MONYO Brewing Co.to Budapest, luckily this just made them even more sure to come back and raise hell with us at the BPBW 2019 | Budapest Beer Week /// Tasting Sessions!
